A 50 % deposit for each day reserved is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non refundable in cases of cancellation within 7 days of the trip, unless your booking can be replaced with another on the same date. The deposit will be refunded in full in cases of cancellation before this 7 day period. 

Late cancellations within 7 days are difficult to fill, and other bookings may have been forfeited on that same date.

The remaining cost will invoiced within 7 days of the trip and is due before the date.

Any cancellation due to extreme weather conditions will be determined by Ollie Bassett and only when the safety of the client is at risk. In these rare cases, Ollie will either reschedule the trip to a new date and the deposit will be held in full to reserve the new date, or, if an alternative trip cannot be arranged, a full refund will be made.

Ollie Bassett reserves the right to cut short, cancel or postpone any trip if he considers the conditions unsafe. Fly Fishing in New Zealand can take anglers into wild and isolated terrain and while Ollie endeavors to provide a professional, knowledgable and experienced service he can accept no liability for any injuries, medical conditions, losses or claims of any kind or nature. Ollie strongly advises all international travelers to hold full travel insurances to cover injury, material losses and medical treatments before undertaking any outdoor activities.
